You will be responsible for developing a portfolio of new and existing events and will be working predominantly on the sales and commercial side of the business. You will be comfortable producing, managing and achieving budgets and will have experience of running exhibitions and events. The role has an element of marketing and operations, although is predominantly sales focused. Ideally you will be working or have previously worked for an organising company in the role of Senior Exec, Assistant Exhibition Manager or Exhibition Manager. Events Executive – London
Description:
A large investment bank requires an Events Executive on a 4-month contract basis to work within their corporate department on their conferences and corporate hospitality events. You will co-ordinating various sporting events including Wimbledon and Ascot to entertain the banks corporate clients. This role would ideally suit candidates with a corporate or agency background, and you must be available to start immediately.

Staffing Programmes Events Specialist - Europe
The Google Staffing Programmes team has an immediate need for a high-energy, individual with event planning experience to organize both external and internal recruiting functions. The ideal candidate has a proven record in developing effective programs, is detail-oriented and thrives under pressure; and has keen analytical skills, to design and implement programs to achieve stated goals.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of events and conference sponsorships as well as events onsite at Google, including working with facilities, staffing, catering and external vendors to ensure a successful experience for candidates with minimal impact to current employees.
- Research conferences and other events to identify recruiting opportunities, and develop proposals for events.
- Manage cross-office internal communications, such as the recruiting event calendar.
- Manage and grow marketing materials specific to events.
- Analyze programs for effectiveness; conduct post-event reporting and ROI analysis.
- Plan and implement all details of recruiting events in a variety of locations.
- Interact with vendors, hotels, organizations and Google employees.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in marketing, communications, business or equivalent.
- Experience in human resources or staffing a plus.
- Ideally several years experience in event or program management.
- Exceptional budget management, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Must be self-motivated, articulate, and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to participate on interdepartmental teams.
- Ability to work smart in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Ability to think, plan and execute resourcefully.
- Ability to plan events in remote locations.
- Must be willing to travel and work flexible hours.
This position is based in either Zurich or London.

Events Assistant
A not for profit organisation seeks an Event Assistant to work alongside the event teams in the day-to-day event administration of a portfolio of events including professional conferences, seminars and training events. This role will include everything from souring venues, delegate registration and preparing the delegate packs to on-site assistance at the event, speaker liaison and assisting with marketing to external audiences. This role would ideally suit a candidate with an administrative background, preferably in an event environment, with strong IT skills.

Event Manager – Permanent
Due to recent expansion, a senior candidate is sought for this new role within a city based financial institution. Experience in investment banking and dealing with media would be advantageous for this role arranging high end conferences and events for internal staff and clientele.
