Delegate Co-ordinator
Our client is a global business delivering conferences, symposiums and congresses for some of the worlds premier pharmaceutical brands; they lead the field in the management and operation of complex events for their clients all over the world.
They are now seeking a Delegate Co-ordinator to work within one of their Project teams to assist in the successful organisation and delivery of their events
As part of this team you would be involved in the planning and co-ordination of the logistics relating to the delegate attendance for a range of events from client advisory boards to stand-alone meetings in the UK and Europe.Your duties will include:
Co-ordination of the invitation process
Organisation of travel requirements including the monitoring of despatch of airline tickets from third party suppliers
Organisation of all ground travel arrangements and accommodation requirements for delegates
Preparation of rooming lists and attendance on site to man the registration desk
Assistance with other duties such as venue finding, flight arranging and general event admin.
This role is a client facing opportunity, so our client is seeking candidates with good presentation and communication skills.You must also be fantastic at multi-tasking, be a whiz at budget control, proposal preparation and negotiation.
The ideal candidate should have a proven track record within the event management arena, have good delegate management experience, sound logistical skills and the urge to join a highly organised and fun loving business.The role offers lots of opportunities for travel all over the UK and Europe.

The ideal candidate should have previous account management experience within an event agency or corporate environment, great communication skills, be conscientious, have previous experience working with clients at a high level and able to build and manage good client relationships.You need to be prepared to work away from home both in the UK and Europe.
