Description: A corporate company based in Oxfordshire requires a Sponsorship & Events Manager on a contract basis to cover maternity leave. The contract is due to run between 6 and 12 months and you will be responsible for co-ordinating corporate sponsorship activities and providing complete end-to-end development and management of events for all functions to enable the company to achieve their objectives. You will be involved in everything from managing external suppliers, budget management and execution of all events from pre-production stages through to post event evaluation. Candidates must have a proven track record in sponsorship and event management within a corporate or financial environment.

Salary: £40-50k pro rata

Account Executive – Experiential and Live Events Agency
Description: This live events and experiential marketing agency is looking for an Account Executive to support their Account Manager on a couple of their accounts.
You will be in a client facing role, responsible for sourcing venues, supplier management, budgets, brand communication, creative input, briefing the studio, database management and on site management.
You will need to have good project management and client relationship skills, great attention to detail and good communication skills.
You must be prepared to go out on site to events.
This role will suit someone who has 6 months account executive knowledge and is looking to start a career in events.

Assistant Event Researcher/Manager
Great role in thriving events team for Europe’s largest engineering institute. Working as an Assistant Manager you will have responsibility for managing a portfolio of events for members and the wider engineering community. Responsibilities will include:
Research and put together a programme of events, identifying and recruiting industry experts as speakers, writing copy and ensuring commercial of events.
Take responsibility for the quality of content of events and any publishing medium, working closely with experts from industry, academia and internal departments.
Work with the event management team to ensure the effective marketing of events, as well as working with advertising and sales teams to put together a sponsorship sales strategy for your events.
Candidates will be educated to degree level or equivalent with an interest in engineering / technology / business and will have knowledge of the commercial / industrial world.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence and persuade is essential, as is strong written and spoken communication skills.
We are also interested in hearing from applicants who have experience gained in the events environment for more senior roles within the organisation. Remuneration according to experience.

Events Officer
Our client is a national charity that works to increase the quality and quantity of volunteering across England. They are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to manage their events programme from the initial planning through to delivery and evaluation. You will need excellent communication and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work under pressure and deal with people at all levels.
Reporting to the Head of Communications & Marketing, you will need to be a highly motivated individual, who can make a real impact and deliver results. As well as being tactful and diplomatic, you will have highly developed, research and copy writing skills and a good level of computer literacy that must include previous experience of the CARE Database.
You will be working as part of a five-strong team which has a demanding workload, so you will also be expected to contribute to other activities carried out by the team, such as awards schemes and the annual Volunteers? Week celebrations.
Skills and Abilities: Effective verbal presentation skills including the use of Powerpoint.
Up to date IT skills, including the use of databases and the ability to adapt to changing IT processes and Programmes
Knowledge of Microsoft products including word, excel
Experience: A minimum if 2 years experience of organising and administering events.
Projects management, including working successfully to tight and immovable deadlines.
Budget management experience.
Other: You should have an understanding of the potential and value that volunteering has for society
You need the ability to travel nationally and stay overnight sometimes at short notice.
