We are seeking an Events Assistant to support the busy Events team. Excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual looking to develop a career within event management and gain international events experience. Fantastic central London location. We are offering 25k per annum.
DUTIES
• Assist the Events Manager in organising the logistics of large-scale and complex international recruitment summits and provide general support to the Events team
• Provide on-site support at the event
• Assist with sourcing venues, suppliers, AV companies and event photographers within the confines of the event budget
• Draft copy for marketing and sponsorship documents
• Compile information for the summit programme and provide creative input
• Organise the translation of English copy into Arabic
• Prepare event documentation for clients and candidates, signage, information packs, badges, feedback forms, PowerPoint slides, etc.
• Order stationary for events
• Generate ideas for cost-saving solutions
• Use event management software
REQUIREMENTS
• Outgoing team player who can work equally well unsupervised
• Experience in an events environment, assisting in the organisation of events larger than 100 delegates – corporate experience preferred
• Excellent organisation, communication and administrative skills
• Able to be perform well under pressure
• Attention to detail a must
• Ability to multi-task and manage a busy workload
• Willing to “muck in” with ad hoc tasks when required
• Prepared to work long hours and weekends in the build-up to and during events
• Available for international travel
